    transmission rumble

    I'm running a 1.6 pinto and mt75 gearbox in a mk2 transit
I have a rumbling sound when I decelerate and when I push the clutch in
but both only happens when I'm going over 35mph
I thought maybe clutch release bearing but surely that would happen at all speeds and when idling and would not happen on deceleration
any ideas on what I should be checking

    I took the prop off
centre bearing was worn and I got the guys down at propshaft services to check uj's
one was a tad loose but he tightened that for me.
    replaced the centre bearing.
and it still rumbles at the same speeds

    you can't tighten a prop u/j
if they are loose then they are knackered

When I checked the uj's before I took it to them, they seemed nice and tight with no play

Ok so if your happy and comfortable I would jack up the rear and put it on axle stands then get someone to drive the truck and copy the conditions of the rumble to see if you can locate any issues
