    Hi guys

If you fit a PCV valve to one rocker cover, either remove or block the filter on that rocker cover, you need to create a cross flow of air through the engine from one rocker cover through the crank case up through the other rocker cover then through the PCV valve into the inlet manifold, (not the air cleaner) You can block the vent at the rear of the lifter valley as the crank case will be vented with this method. I ran this system on my rover powered model A for years with no problems or dirty engine,

    Cheers Ian

don't confuse him ian (yellacar), it's taken 2 days to explain so far and yes obviously the pcv valve replaces the breather on that valve cover. also the breather tube at the rear of the valley may have already been removed/blocked if it's not visible.
