    v8 sbc into chevy s10

My 1991 GMC Sonoma (rebadged Chevy S10) is a 2.8 v6 manual 5 speed, pretty sure its the T55 transmission, and i have the chance of a very cheap 350 from a 70's Caprice. S10V8 sell a kit compromising of mounts and headers for a couple hundred bucks, but i cant seem to find out if the bell housing bolt pattern is the same, anybody got any ideas...? Would make the swap a hell of a lot easier, and the engine is getting pretty tired and as its already lpg it should still be pretty cost effective. Anyone else done such a conversion...?

    Any help much appreciated

unfortunately the 2.8 is different to sbc. the 4.3 v6 is the same but that doesn't help much.

if the bellhousing is seperate to the box then you just need the right one for the sbc.
