I doubt it was in Asda , the engine ain't wired up

That black one lives next door to the Vernon Arms.
No longer selling anything Hot Rod related. Not on this site anyway. Don't bother searching Ebay either, they got too greedy.........

th worst thing i encountered from SA are those splitty bodied buses with bay fronts.. those were a dog to resto, really *******ised..
had a look on my other hard drive last nite, and those were the only 2 1967 looms i still have, yeah there prolly are more, they liked to make stuff difficult
oddly i kept all the coachbuilt vw commercials diags from my days running the type2 commercials club, something i prolly rarely, if ever used. why do we hang onto these things..lol

i'll have to bookmark that link kapri, my missus is after another crewcab/notchback, might come in handy..

    damned hangover is kickin in...errgh.

It was a fleet side splitty pick up I did for a mate, think they only made them for one yeras ( 74 or 5 ? ). It was almost spotless , couple of minor rust repairs ( apart from the back of the cab that was beaten to death) . He bare metalled it but didn't straighten anything, just painted it 2 tone flat paint...I must admit I keep looking at it lustfully

sounds sweet kapri.. i was kinda lucky with my last crewcab(we dug it out of a field in arizona) exterior slab sides were real straight, cept for the cab section of the load area(had been walloped at some point but not too bad) and the interior had a few scuffs n dings...
I got ragged on real bad by the type 2 owners club for not correcting them...but i told them to take a long walk of a short pier...As far as i'm concerned they were part of of the cars history and yrs of hard toil... hell we all have a few war wounds after all these yrs, i'm proud of my scars, so why would i deny a truck the same..
some ppl just aint happy unless you do stuff their way.
I'd love another crewcab, but i'd have to replace the awful reduction box rear end for an irs. it doesnt feel right when you gas it n the rear lifts!
