    HEI swap was only an option if your's was FUBAR'd Not worth it otherwise.

    The HEI units were high output units & ultra reliable. Having the coil in the cap kept it compact & also did away with the King lead - so more efficient there as well.

    I think you are being a bit shy towards the contactless option - after all every car built in the last 40 years has contactless ignition and most of them do their entire lives without issue in that area.

    hahaha I agree! i like to see things moving, I'm always suspicious of boxes that I can't see what's going on in there... which is surprising as my day job is all to do with the latest state of the art technology and things that work that you cant even see..haha

    Well... my dizzy is all rebuilt and has a brand new vaccum canister..
    Had the day off work today, ticked off a load of jobs on the car as it was a dry day, but didn't get to fit the dizzy back as I'm waiting for the T for the oil pressure gauge and sensor and it's easier to fit that without the dizzy.
