    You may well find that the secondary opens far too early giving crap acceleration unless a heavier dashpot spring has been fitted. Double pumpers work really well with a blower IMO.

    Re. the tickover thing, when you've had the carb off, have you had a look at where the primary side butterflies are vS. the progression slot? this is with the butterflies in the tickover position. You shouldn't be able to see much of the slot if the pilot jets are clear and are about the right size.

    For their capacity, Daimler motors give good power, what car is it fitted in?

    Have you had it running well before the blower was fitted? i run a weber 38DGAS on mine,no blower and it ticks over great,really responsive and remarkably good on gas.where abouts are you?you could possibly try my carb and manifold.

    Hi, it was running sweet 18 months ago since then rebuilt car and had blower rebuilt, with new carb and electronic ignition. I can weld manufacture and paint, but this mechanical **** is trying to kill me again.

    Ive got another engine so i will take the blower off and try the carbs on it.

    ok no problem its here if you need to try it,just as a matter of interest what electronic ignition are you using?

    What plugs are you using if ngk switch to champion .Ngk do not like over fuelling.
