    zoomie headers

    thinking of making a pair of zoomie headers for my v6, what i need to know is if i make straight pipes what do i use to silence them slightly? is there a type of baffle to use?

    the end bits off a stock beetle (air cooled) exhaust have been used in the past to quieten headers. they clamp to the silencer as stock but with the flangey bit cut off should weld to your zoomies ok. neil.

    not used those though, ordered some other bits a while ago.
    they're meant for motorsicles so erm i guess no, going by the noise they make!!!!
    you can pack them out with wadding.
