If you're paying for the work to be done on you're truck, the builder you chose will give you all the advice you need regarding mounting an engine and everything else involved in that.

And there's a fair bit more to it than just mounting an engine.

    Good luck

if you're close to Wayne ( above) Id give him a call and let him sort it for you. You won't be disappointed.
If it's got tits or tyres, its gonna be trouble

I would get it registered over here and the V5C in my hand before I started any modifications.

Yeah if you’re close to Wayne get him to do it. If not find a place you’re happy with that has good feedback from other rodders and use them. Ask questions on here.
Those of us that can do this stuff ourselves are lucky but generally most are not interested in doing for others. So choose carefully

Rodders tend not to complain when they feel ripped off and don't speak up to protect others ...mostly because any rodshop will have its own fan base out to protect the shops 'reputation'.

I used to try to protect fellow rodders by warning them privately but mostly it fell on deaf ears .

I have in the past put up here about shops whose work looked iffy and got shot down ( only to be proven correct later).

    i havnt any fans.

the flip side is customers can have a tendancy to make something out of nothing, expecially if they didnt pay for certain work to be done in the first place.

i wouldnt recomend myself, thats why i never put myself forward for any work
