Hi. I've got a 1936 Dodge truck cab with doors (poor condition with no floor, glass etc) for a rat project. Really needs a roof chop to make proportions better as the windows seem disproportionately big. So, occurred to me I could raise the top of the firewall and cab front cowl and then shorten the screen frame surround on the "A" post sections and this would make the screen smaller. Then on the doors, the bottom horizontal part of the door window surrounds could be neatly cut and raised to suit/match the smaller screen area. I'm not a fan of letter-box rear windows, so that can stay as-is.
Or am I better going the trad' route?
