**** me, a 4-door Aston! What is the world coming to? A 4-door Porsche is just a pointless, ugly, waste of the Earth's resources, but a 4-door Aston Martin? That's not British

Hope it doesn't end up satin black like the rich kid Lambos and whatnot.

Had a quick look for pix. And wondered what the body is made of, found this -
"Extruded bonded aluminium VH body structure
Aluminium, magnesium alloy and composite body"

The sensible thing to do would be to remove all the running gear and install it in a ranchero.

That's the problem with modern cars - designed to be unrepairable. Even steel parts are often high strength alloys (Boron?) which can't, or shouldn't, be welded. The main reason all that EU **** is a waste of time and energy (but does keep a bunch of useless ****ers in beer...er...wine money) is that nothing made this century is going to be patchable or maintainable anyway.

Guess he'll be cold-shouldered if it was rattle-canned, don't they normally plastic-wrap their toys? So they can change it when satin black's 'so last week'.

Sounds like the structural stuff is extrusions, VH (Very Hexpensive?) ?? Body skin seems a mix of things, run a holesaw through to check?
It'll make some lovely drinks cans one day.
