Anyone ever imported a car from Canada?

Is it like importing from the US, i.e. same people will do it/ or do folk leave it alone due to implications down the line, I do not know anyone who has done it,
    Ta.

My 66 nova came over from canada in 2001,
It was real expensive to ship direct from there, it may now be different?
We used Kingstown shipping, they can advise you.

We initially chose chose to transport it via truck across the border and down to Oakland CA but there was a huge border fee to pay as the car owner was not present,

After all that and the already bought we chose to fly out to Calgary, collect the car, insure and tag it and drove the 1800 miles to Oakland,
    Best holiday ever!
    And still own the car.

Tony J's mate Chris has brought a couple of things from Canada, the shipping was obviously a bit more expensive but you can get good value. You're obviously aware of avoiding things that have corrosion but stuff like classics & RVs don't get used when the salt is about.
