    brake fluid

    fitted new master and slaves into 1956 f100 panel van what brake fluid to use as most if not all seem to be selling dot 4 synthetic or dot 3 ,should i still go go with dot 3 mineral,

    i switched to dot 5 silicon.
    any small leak wont kill the paint

    same here anything I,m keeping has silicon fluid , I put it in my old Willys coupe 35 yrs ago it still stops on a tanner, no moisture build up & I,ve never had to top it up or change a calliper or wheel cylinder . RAY A
