    Channel Crossing Costs

    Trying to help someone out here....

    Any ideas as to the most cost effective route / carrier for getting a vehicle and trailer across the Channel to mainland Europe please guys?

    You'll struggle to beat Norfolk Line, Dover-Dunkirk, on price.
    Although the tunnel at really odd times sometimes have good deals.

    ring derek at freight bookers on this number tomorrow 07918686507.
    he books all our freight crossings to europe and so far has not been beaten on price.he does specialise in freight,but is always helpful and this is his speciality.eurotunnel has been giving better rates than ferry of late.

    we went newhaven ~ dieppe with LD lines /transmanche (sp?) ferries when we picked my A100 up ..
    dodge ram + car trailer + 2 people was £250 each way in freight , back at the end of the summer

    phone them as i couldn't get any sense out of their web site
