From the description it appears to be the circled item on the LEFT in this image.

Thanks for that stu460, thought it was the 1 to the left of the white oblong thingy, mine looks ok and not in 2 halves like the picture may be i'll try a continuity test to see if its blown if its ok then I'm at a loss.
ok done a continuity test and the bigger brown stripped one (circled in pic) gives a beep but the one I thought it was the smaller black with silver stripe on its end just visible in pic in the middle of the 2 top circles in pic gives no reading, so if that is the fuse Robscott mentions then that could be my problem but if its the bigger brown stripped one circled in the pic in 2 halves then mine is fine, so just need to confirm which one is the fuse.
markings on what I think is the fuse, black with a silver end is k32 or k82 if that helps.

Can't really see what you're referring to in the photo, black cylinder with a silver is usually a diode, isn't it? Have you got a diode check on your meter/tester?

Its the black one on the right of the thickest red wire.
I suspect the original pic was the other way round to the image I posted.

Looks like he was referring to the brown one, see Post #10 earlier:

looks like it is just a fuse, no one way diode..... so can be replaced with a conventional 15A fuse...

Not sure, but on the first post of page 1 of this thread Robscott says its the black 1 to the right of the thick red wire which is the 1 I'm referring to, on the photo link stu460 posted you can just make it out at the top of photo in between the 2 yellow circles.

if it was the other way round the only thing to the right of the thick red wire is the black stubby one mounted vertically but that doesn't look like the picture of the fuse posted by Robscott .
