    The local centres that impound cars for no tax are still shut and empty (drove past the one near me just now and the trucks in there havent moved since lockdown)
    One of our scumbag neighbours drives around i a black cab with no tax, mot and insurance and it has been reported by everyone. Police wont act as they have no one to pick it up and impound it round here and say its a DVLA problem!!!. The bailiffs for the toll bridge round here went back to work on monday 24th.

    Yeah, sending out reminders, and they also have a new one asking if your SORNed vehicle is still not being used! I guess, like me, many folks SORNed some of their cars at the start of lockdown and DVLA are feeling the pinch . . .

    My van failed it's MOT big time so I decided to scrap it. It was taxed to the end of September so on the 29th of August I declared SORN online so I could get the one months tax back. The website said the refund would take 4 to 6 weeks. Today (5th) 2 brown envelopes dropped on the mat. One was the refund, the other was the tax reminder...
