    Just a reminder, they reckon on no lower than 3:55 ratio for the AOD as the converter locks at 40mph and lower ratio prevents this at slow speed/round town and can lead to the engine (289 in my case) bogging down round town/low speed etc

    yep you guessed right MSD control it replaced a AOD that wore out. MSD is pricy but lets you play with the settings. I also got a A4LD in my daily, go for the AOD

    Thanks for the advise , do you still have the old AOD that needs rebuilding

    no I sold it. its now been rebuilt and fitted to a 69 [ I think ] mustang
