    frenched headlights

    Hi peeps been having some thoughts on this as ive got a pair of wings to go on the mk1 consul
    i think its quite a smart look ,what do you guys think about it and whats the best way to go about a job like that

    mate of mine used old kitty-kat tins when he did his...lol. did'nt last five minute's. but did look good for a while!

    Just think backwards, as the headlite needs to fit in from the inside of the wing.

    Kits are available in the US for a few cars, maybe one could be adapted to save work?

    Frenching on your motor (Mk 1) would look great, but Frenching goes with a certain look ie: Lead sleads and the like, So if you do go the frenching root try a slightly smaller headlight and a funneled french. Its quite an easy task ,all you need is the complete head lamp. I'm not brilliant at metal fab but I did both lamps on a moggy in a weekend
