    Gearbox refurb ????

    Hey all,

Posting on behalf of my Nephew, he's got a 94 Dodge Ram magnum truck and it needs some gearbox refurb work, about 2 months ago they flushed the gearbox and refilled with Dextron 3 and all was well, but last night it gave a big squeal then lost all drive, the box oil has changed from red to black.

Is there anyone in the Essex/London area that you'd trust to refurb/repair your box (ooerrr!) as he really needs to get it back on the road as its his daily !

    thanks

Thanks dropped him a PM, anyone else worth contacting ? the box has been identified as a A518 torque flight 4 speed, so its probable that the clutches have burnt out, maybe ? LOL

John Tudor, he's in South East London, PM me if you want his details.
How'd the weekend go? Well, at the moment it looks like a dolphin that's been caught in a boats propeller.
