    Goodwood Speed Week

    Anyone watching this ?
Loads of cool cars racing at Goodwood, from the pre WW1 monster cars (Beast of Turin etc) Gerry Marshal era saloons, StMarys sixties saloons and the Goodwoood Shootout where modern Le Man sorts stuff, Rally cars and F1 are all having a go at the track record.
Well worth looking at (on various live streams YouTube etc)

Yeah me too (I have been every year since 2011) I quite like the idea of the Speed Week though, it will be interesting to see if they add this to the regular schedule.

A mate treated me to a day out at Silverstone a few years back. The classic Jaguars were amazing to watch, and the drivers were not holding back. The most entertaining race was a mixed bag, mainly Brit' Jags, Astons and the like, but regular as clockwork being lapped by just about everybody was a Corvair trundling along at its own pace...

Man, I hope I can see that in person someday, or even after the pandemic dies down.
