Trouble is the available are it has to fit in, looked at both those ideas ( thanks Mark and Steve ) but not suitable for various reasons. The plastic container 'would' have been ideal

    Looking at (roughly) 75mm diameter x around 400 - 500mm tall .

alloy drink bottle. I have one as a catch tank on my Topolino. Only draw back is it has an in but no out. You could use a small bulkhead fitting in the bottom though. Fiddly to fit but no real problem

Already looked at that Gerry , in fact using a water container bracket to hold it in place , top seal isn't good enough and need a couple of side outlets

Well the one on the Topo holds the pressure of the water system on its original cap. Side outlets can be done with small bulkhead fittings, fiddly but can be done.
Not sure if the gas would be a problem with the top fitting but you could always use an O ring (Viton) under the cap.. Just thinking aloud here

The only bulkhead fitting I can get are huge and then use reducers down to 6mm tails. Would never get them to seal on a curved side surface for sure

OK. so we can make a couple of small fittings and the metal on these drinks bottles is so thin that when we tighten up the fittings it will flatten the metal and seal. What do you think?
