Insurance on Pride and Joy ?

    What would you ?
As time goes on it seems like "Money Hungry" could be the only remaining UK Pro stocker from it's era circa 71-75 that being the case how much do l insure it for? and what would be a value as a rolling shell. Help!!!!!!

Bry said to Tony Jarvis 2009 season will be it's last. ln some ways l should leave the Fastest numbers under Tony Dickson name what do you think Bry?
As this time it's going to fly with that Bully motor and Adys NOS tune. still [email protected] it's best with 70's suspension???

Difficult question, how do you put a value an a legend?
My guess would be to value it as you would if it was for sale, but its probably impossible to put a realistic value on such a piece of UK drag racing history.
Historic cars go up and down with the rest of the economy, now values not good but if the economy recovers/booms you must be talking big bucks!

Definatly Mike, leave it for posterity mate, remember you are only the keeper of a car with that kind of history-just think how you'd feel if you tip'd it up !!
I would guess at some point in the next few years there will be a dragracing musium/or display in an existing musium, and that car must be on the want list,i personally hope Mr Bartlett does it,it would be a good earner particully when its raining,Bry

Bry your a wise o** rooster, and l will keep to the plan of Hot Rods/Nostig/Mopars and then call it a day!!
Haynes were considering a section for British Drag Racing but its gone quiet, if
Mr Bartlett was to show interest now that would be something as l would then have a problem of choice

Can't you post the same question on one of the USA forums with full spec and history - any historical USA race car I guess will have a far higher value there pro rata but it would give you a comparative value I suppose. Perhaps an anglophile out there will help.

Mike i figure if Brian Taylors book continues to maintain sales at it current rate, there might be a rethink by one or two parties ?,at some point we all long for the old days ?,and i dont see it as a choice issue,im probably going to be in a simular position in the future, and my motive isnt monetory, its so these cars are there for future generations to enjoy-hows it go-"Nostalgia its the future "
