ok..I was going to wait a while when I knew more details and post in the events section...ok this event is being organised by my mate Kobus who is the man behind European Bug in..ask any VW people who have been in the past or went this year and I'm sure they will tell you that they are some of the best events you could ever attend..The Chimay road track is steeped in history - it opened in 1926, it's also where the beer is brewed ( handy)..so pencilled in activities are Drag Racing, Dirt Track Oval, 1km Speed Trials, Car Show, Club Displays, Burn Out Area, Pinstriping & Tattoo Area,Live Bands etc etc...Open for pre 69 cars & Bikes at Chimay open road track on 23rd 24th June 2012.. It's a great excuse for a road trip..easy to get to - not too far and fueled by Chimay beer..
I'll get something in the events section soon and do my best to answer any questions..might even get Kobus to join up on here as he has a 36 Dodge pick up that was built in the 60's..Si

Hi Guys I just registered, we're working on a nice website for the event right now. I can tell you one thing, if it's all going to go like I've got it in my head right now, then this is going to be one killer show!!!
As a reply to 62 Vette, the drags will not have the 69 cut off. But for all of the event's motorized chalenges you will have to pre-register your car, so we will have some control over what cars we will let run and which we don't.
The events grounds in Chimay are huge and most of it has grass as a surface, so I'm looking forward to building an event on there that will take you back in time!
thanks kobus i have been emailing you(paul bentley) look foreward to the show next year
is this the weekend after bottrop?
