I just switched to air products from BOC because of prices.
A Coogar full-size refill is about £50 from air products, was about £70 from BOC.
Rental is a bit more on 'daily basis' but about the same once all 4 bottles are on 'yearly' (I'm switching as & when BOC ones run out)

 

Briz, only thing I can think is that we have different accounts. Mine isn't a "regular" trade type account, I think its called a cash-account or something, but the last time I exchanged bottles (about three months ago) I'm sure it was over £100. With my account the paperwork is done at the place of exchange and Air Products send me the bill in the post. I'll try and find it out. If it was £50 a refill I would stay with A.Products.

Thanks Chris, I looked on their website and thought they were Yorkshire only, I'll give them a try, they're only down the road.

 

Just found my paperwork & my last refill in March this year was £114.73.

 

Forgot to say but when comparing prices make sure you check what the fill pressure is, I think BOC fills to 230bar but Adams Gas only fills to 130bar so while the refills may look cheaper they may not necessarily be so.

 

Update. I've gone with Energas (Burton on Trent branch). I've gone for a half-full size bottle (same diameter as full size but about 3 1/2 feet high). Rental is £52 a year, refills are £27 (all plus VAT).
