my car is built to race but i don't want to and proud of it

Looking at the thread about the head hunter willys' got me thinking that not everyone wants to race their car and fair play to them and i am one of them and proud of it.
I would rather just drive it on the street than race it, i find building more fun than the driving to be really honest.
Heres a picture of my non racer so please feel free to post your built to the hilt non racer because i bet there are more of us than you would believe

Racing is fine if you can afford the breakages and there's the downtime while its being fixed . I prefer to cruise, racing is for the rich guys.
    There's no replacement for displacement.

Depends on how fast you want to go? there are compromises anyone can meet. My car has run 12s almost stock for 18years without dropping the trans pan or touching the engine which was built in 1986. + ive done 35,000 miles in it since then. and of course, theres the old argument of what people call a street car!! (better leave it at that!)

plenty of people race that are not rich over, racing is great, crewed for a year with a bloke but had no workshop time on my own stuff so found it frustrating at the same time.

i was thinking of prostreet looks but any car that looks like it should be on the track but just a street driver , even if iwas a 1/4 miler before you owned it and now it is not .
