The stick looks waaaaay back there too which would be a problem with bench seats etc. At least the Tremec offers optional stick positions.

WTF can't anyone combine the world perfect ratios of a M21/22 with a nice low numerical ratio 2.2 first, and a .60 OD ratio fifth gear?
Ever driven a 6 speed Vette? 1st gear is far too low and just lights the tyres, 2nd is a little higher than where you would want 1st to be, 3rd and 4th ratios just arn't quite right and then you have two OD ratios! when surely one would suffice

Works the other way too; I've just got rid of a '93 BMW 525, and fifth gear was direct. Which made all five gears so close that they could(should!) have used a four speed box and made it nicer to drive. It was seriously irritating on the motorway, doing over 3500RPM at 80MPH. Not what I want in a comfortable cruiser.
