    Nhra museum california

The next stop on my trip to California was the NHRA Museum in Pomona just outside of Los Angles, this is a must for the Nostalgic Hot Rodder And Drag Racer , there is something for everyone , even a few of Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top fame.
I hope you like the Pictures

does anyone know how many eliminators there are? my friend was in Cleveland, Ohio, and he took a picture of: eliminator around same time you take pic of eliminator in pomona.
the one you took pics of seem to have perfect paint round the roof where is meets the boot. the one in Cleveland had some bad cracks in paint there.

Thanks for posting the pics, We've been to the NHRA Museum a couple of times & the display is constantly changing & always worth visiting, The 2nd time we went coincided with the twilight cruise & from late afternoon the car park in front of the museum filled up with some awesome rods & Street Machines, we got to meet Dave Maclelland, Tommy Ivo, Wally Parks & Dyno Don Nicholson too, It was a great 'several' hours!

Great pictures, great memories I was there in 2008 married in vegas!!, looks like they do update exhibits often, zz top eliminator wasn't there then, It was the L.A county show (September 0 when we visited (Went to So cal just a few miles away but was closed!! Bummer) the museum had a Wally parkes display with a mock up of his garage and his repro 32? that they'd made and presented to him a couple of years before( he died 2007), bought myself a commemerative leather jacket plus a few models,as you do!, I noticed the Surfwagon rod there which I'd also seen at the peterson museum L.A??? showed them the photos and they were completely baffled cos they thought theirs was the one and only original, also visited the museum on the 5th floor of the imperial hotel in vegas, plus a few harley dealers, hoping to go back next year and take in bakersfield show, just missed last time, thanks for posting pictures

Pete it was a vey unexpected pleasure to meet Wally, & I was sad to learn that he passed away shortly after,
I met Bob Tasca Sr. in Sept. last year & was shocked to learn he passed away earlier this year!
I think I'll keep away from Garlits' place!
