    there was a hunt magneto but when engine was put on dyno it was considered junk so was swap for msd one, the reason clear perspex was used was to see the magneto lol. did you notice the nickel plated blister panels? the chassis work work alone is a work of art, even the bolt holes holding the tunnel down were cut out of valve covers! seen this being built over last 6 years so know alot about it, been worth the wait.

    Spotted them both, but you could spend ages looking at it and still miss stuff. I tried to take it all in, but still missed the tunnel bolts (and doubtless loads of other stuff...). Outstanding work

    Not seen it in the flesh but the pics are making me drool!
    Was the Hunt magneto an HEI mag look-a-like or a genuine mag?
    I've got mine apart at present and the HEI look a like uses Mallory internals.

    It's got a 34 grill. Don't know if there were year differences with the 3 and 5 window models.

    Nope, it's a 33 grille, it has a thinner surround and has a gentle curve to the profile, just like the louvres on the hood side panels. On a 34 the louvres and grille are both straight.

    Have to agree that 34 caught my eye soon as I got there.
    A few pics of mates on the strip,Ant's (gold pop) first time on the strip well done mate.
