    what shall i do with the rear plate of the chevy?

    mount it on the rear bumper like this, possible with a guard of some sort?


    or french it in here?

    Put it on the body, this allows the bumper to draw your eye and to emphasisi the width of the car , thus making it look wider and lower.

    Shame it has to go on there at all. It'll look lovely and smooth.
    I'd prefer the smooth bumper look, but what do I know.
    I'm guessing it's to low to fit underneath the bumper.

    here's where it lives at the moment (the texas one) , and TBH it looks naff.


    i did think about having it underneath, but it's a little low, pluss you can't really see it, and it looks like a nasty afterthought. bad enough having the exhausts under there IMHO

    i mounted a number plate under the boot floof on hinges so it could be seen when being followed by the law but you couldn't see it when standing near it.
    keeps it nice and neat, it might also help with speed camaras

    On the bumper but only with a guard you could also french the lights in the guards then keeping the body nice and smooth!

    Split the bumper and use a Merc centre section, with the overriders, and mount the plate in there...
