    Does the positioning of the intercooler make any great difference? I was going to place it either above or below the radiator at the front. I have enough space it.s just a matter of plumbing.

    Just make sure it has plenty of air going through it.Mine is located in front of the radiator and works well,without upsetting the coolant system.

    There was a beautiful pop at the hot rod drags with maestro/montego engine fitted .lovely car and well engineered,owner quoted 55 mpg and went very well. (the kind of mpg's we all dream about especially staying in north of scotland) Matt
