    Pop front suspension

Have been following the build threads, and am looking for front suspension for my pop. A couple of names keep cropping up Wisbech and Ian Mockett. Been on Wisbechs site and saw them at Billing but cannot get hold of Ian Mockett the ohine number for him does not work. Anyone know if he is still about or a contact number.

Have looked at Wisbech and as you say the engineering is top notch. But would like to look at any other options as well. My intention is to build a everyday useable vehicle and not a show and shine exhibit. So it comes down to wether or not things do the job and not necessarily which looks the best, sometimes the two go together. All opinions are welcome as that is where a lot of good information comes from.

    Whengparts

Have you seen the whengparts laser cut front cross member for cortina uprights? If I remember right, he said he can make it any width to suit, may be worth trying! Give them a ring and have a chat?
    Hope this helps,
    Andy

I was looking at a Pop version the other day as it happens . It looks like it could be done but it would need to use mk2 Escort rack & the top & bottom arms would need to be 2" shorter either side. Width over the hubs would be about 48". You would probably only get a 4 banger between the top horns though. If you mail me I can send you a sketch of how it might look.
No longer selling anything Hot Rod related. Not on this site anyway. Don't bother searching Ebay either, they got too greedy.........
