The cheaper option is to manipulate the picture in a digital editing tool like Photoshop. Google 'tilt and shift' and there are loads of tutorials on how to do it.

Yup.......and it's pretty effective. But you need to choose the right photo as it doesnt work on everything. You need a bit of height, but not too much, to get the perspective right and really get that shallow depth of field effect working. Not seen it done much on motorsport so gave it a go after seeing NY photographer Vincent Laforet's Beijing Olympics and New York sports event coverage with the same lenses (though he's lucky enough to have the complete set of 4.........about 6k to you and me!!!! )

Your ones look like photoshopped T&S effects rather than genuine ones to me

There's a website that converts the images for you.

You can ask my bank manager if it's real or not.

if it didnt weigh a tonne....i'd bring my 8x10 large format view camera *yes....i even have the black cape to go over my head too!!* as it puts pretty much any other camera to shame for quality and creativity.....though at £3 per sheet of film, and it taking an age to set up, it's a little off putting. Mucho lens weirdness......
