First off guys good luck with the build.
If u want any advice / tips on the chassis build, if u don't know him already, have a chat with Roy Wilding, (Roy Wilding Nostalgia Race Cars) on 0121 552 7188. He's the grey haired bloke leaning on the slick in Torments' pics and is in your neck of the woods. I'm sure he won't mind giving u a few pointers if u need any that is. He knows more about race cars than most of us will ever know in our life time and is just one of the best men in drag racing.

Good luck again guys see u at the strip.

Just hada' chat with tom, as oddly I love the fact that that is so so old school and yeah, such a budgeted drag to make, that it seems like the type to give it a shot at!

Infact, why not! bringing back the good ol'60s experimental slingshots. I love anything like that, it has its own style, history n class.

those top rails dont constitute a 6 point cage, i think thats the basic problem.
if one were to go down the tag route then the price can be 3 fold easily.
i believe the young lads want to build something cheap and fun to get going with, so as long as its built with safety in mind, i feel theyll have a better chance of actually being able to realise there dream?.
