A mate of mine organises a charity show to raise funds to help a local biker who was paralysed in a freak accident at home. Supposedly just a small local show it attracts bikes from all over the South. The missus and I popped along to support him, me on the green Laverda twin and her on the black and blue flamed Harley that I rebuilt about a decade back. No chance of either of us winning a prize for the quality of our bikes, but I did win the exhibitors' raffle which landed us a couple of free pints!
This rather unassuming bike is a bit of an engineering marvel, built by Allen Millyard who has been responsible for such lovelies as a Dodge Viper engined bike, an aero engine V-twin, five, six and seven cylinder two strokes and a few home made V8s etc. This started life as a Velocette single... and is now obviously a v-twin. Gorgeous piece of kit.
