Is that the roof chopped, gloss black & flamed, supercharged one that was owned by Tom Mc Mullen, the owner of Street Rodder magazine?. There was a build feature of it in the magazine showing it being painted & assembled. The engine, trans & rear axle were mounted on a subframe that was bolted to the chassis in the pickup bed I've got an article of it in the "library" somewhere, but God knows where it is.

cheers...Nige

it was tom mcmullens dodge A100 pickup chopped roof mid mounted bigblock with supercharger, was featured in hotrod magazine and rodandcustom, cost a fortune to build at the time, dont believe it ever had a full feature in street rodder even though tom owned the magazine.

not sure if tom mcmullen built it, but did have a feature on it in an old street rodder, feature was about "big willie and the LA street racers" cant remember if mcmullin had it before or after, was also on a whickers world program when he done a bit on van nuys and hot rods
