John got the white bands for his 37 Chevy from Raceways at Donnington.

ordered some from Northants tyres.....they were the only place that had the white bands for the front.......currently they do a 10% discount if you order on line so it's cheaper to buy off the web and then have them deliver to your door than turn up and buy over the counter!!!!!

I don't know how much of a heathen thing this is to suggest, but having seen Northants prices before was enough to scare me off. Depending on your prefered tyre size, Camskill are very competitive (as are mytyres) and there is a chap on another forum who does walling (red or white) extremely well and at what would probably amount to a saving IIRC. If wanted I will go hunt out his contact details.

    Try this guy

    http://www.tyre-finder.co.uk/
    Tel: +44 (0) 845 230 1966
    E-mail: [email protected]

I can remember his name but when I got a set of Firestones crossply's for my old 40 Pickup he saved me nearly 20% on the Northants price! He's a small setup and might not have then in stock but for that saving I was well happy to wait a week.

    Cheers

    Gotzy
