I know at one point he got 2 correct belts....from China ,but they both gave up the ghost within 300miles, (snapped) the one thats on now is doing the job properly. I took a bride to Church in it in Jan LOL, that was fun.
We also moved one idler which wrapped the belt round the blower pulley to about 220 degrees, not the crap 145 degrees the ****ty US bracketry had it driving on .

You could do a lot worse that give https://www.bearing-supplies.co.uk/page11.html a go.
They have never minded getting the verniers and tape measure out for me in the past. A great bunch of lads.

Gotcha 68 .... Well Any info will help .... I got a Reply from ROUSH , who I asked who were their UK suppliers ??..They recommended DAYCO ...who tell me they only supply to Mexico/Canada & the USA .... so not a lot of chuffin help.

Chaley .... I'll give em a go... and you guys know how remote things are over in Norwich ... I nipped over there once to pick a seat up ...holy moly, I doubt there is a longer drive in England than from West coast of Cumbria to Great Yarmouth (A66, A1, A14 is the fastest route..about 7 hrs)..... and up here its hard to find a flat straight road longer than 300 yds and over there you have to hunt out hills and corners.

OK, Gates would only make a minimum of 40 belts....for anyone, so that means if Roush/Paxton/ whoever dont have 40 people who want them you are on a list for a looong time. This is why he changed the dia of the p/s pulley to get one that fit correctly, this one is nearly 3000mm long LOL.
How long is the original belt?

Yes that's what I did when I needed one for my wagon, I just mounted everything and then wound a length of string around the pulleys then measured the string, then searched xyz long poly V belt, soon found one.

    Cheers ian

that's what i do. make sure with poly v belts that have a sprung tensioner that you allow for it to be partially tensioned before measuring. i've jammed summat in to hold them before.
    neil.
need a job done on your project? i may be able to help.

OK Guys-n-Gals Finally sorted ...NEMESIS came through with 2 belts (so I now have a nice new spare too) and an upgraded ROUSH tensioner.

I did send e-mails and make calls to everyone else.... They never even replied and certainly never called back ..... how hard can it be to just say you can't supply stuff.... ignoring customer enquirers when there is an enquirer option on web sites seems a bit crap.

But Big UP to NEMESIS .... they said by mid Sept and it came on the 3rd... and the delivered exactly what I asked for ... TOP SERVICE
