1930 Model A. Came in to the country two years ago from Chicago. Yup...Capone himself could have walked passed this very car.
Good overall condition with a solid body and chassis. Model A front end lowered with a Posies' reversed eye spring. Model A rear end converted to open drive. Good cast brake drums and Flathead Ted floaters. This pulls up like '40s Ford juicers. Telescopic shockers. T5 5-speed transmission in place and prop, however there is NO ENGINE in this car. The T5 can be mated to a flathead V8, SBC etc etc.
Body is dark blue with black roof and fenders. The paint is the car's weakest point. It was last applied in the '70s and is crazing up. It polishes nicely and looks great on the road, but you can see the crazing close up. Black interior in good usable condition.
Wheels are Merc steels with caps and rings, plus WWW BFG 600x16 fronts and 750x16 rears.
Comes with correct paperwork, several months MOT & tax and about a gallon of petrol in the tank. If you've got a banger or flattie V8 lying around (or even a pinto and trans) you could be on the road in a couple of weeks. A great looking family rod. Was at both drag meets last year, along with a small pic in CC.
£8,500. No trades, no part ex, no bull****.
