NO LONGER FOR SALE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1951 ford f1 pickup.
this truck has been mine for the past 9 years but must now go to chase my dream car.

spec is ;
strong running 289 sbf/c4 box
9in rear and drop beam front with cpp disc conversion
it also comes with most of a jag clip as i was planning on doing it at some stage.bare in mind it would be cheaper to clip this than to paint a rat that is already clipped
the interior has silver and blue flake trim with matching moon wheel
the dash has the original factory radio with one off bullet knobs.
genie shifter and hand break with moon teardrop shift knob.
the cab is totally original never welded and all the window rubbers etc were replaced when it was painted. the colour is rover trophy blue so don't be put off thinking it's expensive candy paint(although many think it is)
long mot into next summer.

been down to the hayride, billing, supernats, leeds cruise etc this year no probs and will be at vw action at the pod this weekend then steel city and the hotrod drags if noone has it by then.

i must act fast to get the car i want so the truck can be veiwed any evening in between these events.
there are a couple of minor issue's eg. the drivers door window is cracked but these are easy to rectify
as i said i've had it for 9 years and will be sad to loose it so i won't be giving it away

thanks guys, to be honest the car i wanted is no longer for sale(doubledoyle's 51 merc) he's keeping it and who can blame him.
i've had a bit of interest so gonna see how it plays out.really would like a kustom but i'd be happy to keep the truck too, it still makes me smile whenever i look in the garage

that Merc was nice with some kool history,but this truck is lush, looks so right, have you seen that early Buick on ebay........

Hello mate,,,i am restoring mine ,,but its been hard to find reasonable peole to do it,,i mean,,need someone to clip with a mustang ifs front suspension and 4 bar link at the rear,,also a 350 chevy with a tremec 5 speed gear box and mustang rear axle...
Prices are above the skyline for some of the works needed,,,
