    1960 Chevy BelAir sedan V8 400

Okay, I imported this a couple of years ago and bodywork was not as described by the American seller, so it keeps getting pushed back and now I am restoring a '57 Chevy pickup, I will put it up for sale once again.
It has a V8 400 cu in small block, Th400 and a '63 Impala rear for better gearing. It has power steering fitted and it starts, runs, drives and stops just fine. Parking brake not hooked up, I think I have a pair of new cables for it...somewhere in the guddle. If you want to use as a ratty roddy, then it wont need much to get it on the road, but if you want a nice shiny thing you can polish, the you will need to restore the bodywork, usual weak spots, rear lower quarters, some bubbling to door skins at bottoms and some work on front wings too. You can buy the patch panels cheap enough in the states or you can get a plasterer in and chuck him a tub of bondo,,,, up to you. Interior wise, it needs a headcloth and carpet, seats and door panels are presentable. Drivers front floor pan needs some attention with the mig.
All in all an easy project and you can't import one that rus and drives for what I'm asking for it.
It was also used in the forthcoming movie "Cloud Atlas" where you will see it on the streets of San Fransisco AKA Douglas St, Glasgow. If you google Halle Berry Glasgow, near every shot of her will have either this car or my '59 Apache Fleetside in the background.
£5995 as is with clear title and customs C386 form and delivered to your drive if you live on UK mainland.

p.s, the paintwork is crap! looks better in the pics.

bump, it's worth every penny, engine is very strong, gearbox changes good, it'll start easy after lying for weeks, would cost more to import a non runner nowadays as the Americans are holding onto them. I just don't have the time to restore it.
