1979 Ford Mustang Drag Car

Here for sale is my cherished Mustang street/strip car. The car currently has no MOT as i've been running in without the exhaust but i'd be happy to arrange one at cost for the buyer. It's been used running in the Pro ET National championship running a N/A best of 11.56 at 117mph. The car is consistent, finished 3rd in the National Championship last year, 6th this year and fresh off of a win in Sportsman ET at the National Finals last weekend. Before the last engine rebuild, the car had ran 11.00 with no problems at all on just a small shot of nitrous. The N/A PB is now almost a 2nd quicker than the last time it was run with gas. The nitrous kit is now off the car but can be sold with it, add it back on and run 10's all day long.
The motor is a 347ci (5.0L) Small block Ford re-built 2 years ago by Ken Coleman at EDA, producing 390bhp on the dyno. C4 Gearbox, 8.8 Axle with Spool. Comes complete with road rims and race wheels running Mickey Thompson ET Street R's with plenty of tread left.
The interior is stripped out but comes with the car along with a whole host of spares. The car is fully legal for drag racing with the roll cage tagged to 10.00, take it away now and choose your class! The car is incredibly simple, reliable and consistent so would suit someone new to a car like this as well as someone wanting to have some fun!
