Posted for a mate, his words....
Right then,i have the opportunity to buy a rather special (to me) car, but to do so i would have to sell my coupe.
I can lay my hands on the cash to buy it, but its under strict instructions that it would have to be put back in pretty short order (its the pay out of an endowment earmarked to pay our mortgage off).
I have arranged to go for a viewing on Tuesday so i wont know if i will be buying it until after that, but i need to see if there is any interest in my car before i commit to the other one.
Plenty of pics of it on here (http://www.nsra.org.uk/newforum/showthread.php?t=3622), but a quick recap:
Registered as a Jago,on a Q
Replica chopped GRP body
Replica style chassis, very heavy duty.
Magnum I beam, fake Buick drums, Cortina brakes, hairpins, VW steering, LHD
GM 10 bolt, posi 3.73 gears, dummy halibrand cover, hairpin ladder bars, GAZ shocks
Rover 3.5, low mileage P6, refreshed and heavily worked heads, Crane cam, lifters, modified stock inlet with Holley 390. Rebuilt BW35 and new T/C
Chanelled body, extensive steel reinforcement inc multi point hidden roll cage, tinted glass, replica door hinges, bomber style seats, basic but fully trimmed interior, with heater, original 32 screen that opens.
Nothing fancy, reasonable done in a barn paint, satin black suspension components, not much chrome, its noisy and tight for room, but it drives really really well and has been built from mainly new parts.
Needs to be viewed as there is much too much build detail to list here.
Oh, and theres nothing else looks as cool as this out on the road! (IMHO!!)
If any one is interested, drop me an email, PM or give me a call.
As i said, it may be withdrawn from sale if the other deal doesnt go ahead, and even if you offer me a million pounds tonight it wont be sold unless i get the other car!
Sorry if i`m being forward advertising it without a firm commitment to sell.....
This is a really difficult decision to have to make!!

Back to me, I've watched this car come together over the last few years and it's really nicely put together, Mark's decription is far to conservative and it drives soooooo nicely, will be gutted to see it leave the stable....
Totally fresh so a real bargin for someone!!!!!
