Harley Shovelhead Chopper in Sussex for sale

Hi, Just had an op on my back and realised my chopper and I are going to have to part company. I’m going to have to get/build one with an elec start and some rear suspension. I have owned the motor for 17 or 18 years – always got me home, current frame etc is about 2003/4. Reg’d as 1951 so tax free – so no indicators etc necessary , 1200cc (motor is actually 1340 ie bigger bore) MOT July. Looking for £6,500 before I put it on EBay in Hove BN3, Bruce 07973 216756.

John Parry (Cobra Engineering) Frame 2004
    3" BDL Belt
    DNA 12" Springer's
    240 x 16" rear Devon 8" wide wheel, 21" front
Braded brake lines Billet 6 rear - 4 pot front
    Rev tech performance clutch
    screaming eagle flat side carb
    JB forward controls
    Porker exhausts 2"
Pulls like a train and sounds like it should....

Well, I hear what you are saying, but the economy has shrunk again today… seriously, I had it MOTed last summer with baffles in the pipes for the first time, seemed like a good idea at the time. I stared to re-tune the carb and my back went, consequently been stood in the corner of my garage since – waiting for me to be realistic; and move it on.

Its not that far off; I'd say you could get £7500 if you waited for summer were patient and didn't mind taking a PX
All these 10K+ prices you see on ebay etc are pie-in-the-sky. Its hard as **** to get over 10k for a HD chop in this country.

Wont be too long before that '53 reg becomes a bit of a liability.....
