    Aussie WANTED prefer Valiant

Looking for another Aussie vehicle, preferably a Valiant/ Chrysler Charger, or a XA to XE Falcon (4 door because I really don't have Falcon coupe money!) but i'de consider (almost) anything, something complete(ish) would be nice.

Thought you might be interested in knowing (regarding the 1972 XY Ford Fairlane):

    1. It sold for £880 at the time.

    2. Was back on the market in December 2011 (ended 01Jan12). Was passed in at £1800 (Ref: 170752113493)

    3. Relisted (Ref: 170757800634). Currently at £1550 with 1 day & 4 hours to go.

Now includes the repair panels required to weld in.

At the risk of crashing your thread, I hope you managed to find an Aussie Valiant, as I am on the look out as well, and wouldn't like to compete (spoilt I guess!).

If anyone happens to have one stashed in their barn / shed / garage, I'd be interested to hear. Sadly, as they never sold it here, I doubt I will find a CL Sedan (ah, sweet memories of youth!). A nice VH/J Sedan would be lovely though!

    *sigh* I can dream though!

Typical! Like a bus, never any cars that you want, then a couple come along! Not that I'm after a Fairmont, but if anyone else is ...

Another - 71 automatic estate (looks quite rusty too - there is a surprise!) Ref: 220926309319

Can't beleive another fairmont has come out of the wood work at the same time! It does make my old HQ wagon look like a bargain for what I sold it for though - i doubt there will be that many takers at that price and i'm avaoiding anything thats rotted from the roof down again!

Am still looking for a Valiant they do come up from time to time, most of them aren't at the nice stage yet though as they've been pretty much unloved for quite a while, not many CL's about, Craig on here has a CH hardtop which is a pretty good example of just how badly they can rot!
