Micky Bray - Ford Pop - Pinball Wizard

posted by Russ D is offline

    Builder: Micky Bray
    Vehicle Name: Pinball Wizard
    Year Built: Circa 1974
    Base Model: Ford Pop
    Current Owner: Pete Legrice
    Classification: Rod
    Current Location: Derbyshire
One of the most famous POPs ever built, Micky Bray created something quite special when he unleashed 'Pinball Wizard' on to the streets. Its been changed over the years with a little fresh paint and different motors, but all in all Pinball still looks like the car the Late Micky Bray created and as good as ever. Pete Legrice from Derbyshire has now owned and brought the iconic Pop back to show quality over the last ten years.

I believe this rod was damaged in the early 90's as it was undergoing bodywork repairs and replacement of a damaged piston at S&G Carcraft (Formerly Leicester Custom Technic)

I was mistaken - it was "Grumpies Toy" that LCT/S&G did the work on (- Thanks Guy for correcting me!)
