CoolAmerican in Cork - Truck Guy

Hey all! I just moved from California to Cork, Ireland. Lovin livin in Europe again. I brought a bunch of stuff over with me but the shed I rented sucks. I wasn't going to sell anything since I'm retired now but since we arrived I've decided to downsize. I want to buy a nice house where I can build a nice new garage to play in. Later this summer I'll probably sell off most of my trucks and just keep one. I have a 53 Chevy 1/2 ton patina pickup that is nearly running. A 1954 GMC 1/2 ton pickup that is just the body sheetmetal and frame (no engine, box or suspension). I also have a 1954 GMC 450 series Cabover flatbed. This one is a project with considerable work done to it. I also brought American street signs and vintage automobilia and a bunch or spare parts. If anyone is interested I also have have 1951 Chevy Suburban that needs final paint and assembly. It's a high end hot rod with a huge list of upgrades and performance parts that are all new. This is for that person who wants a family hot rod that they can put their own finishing touches on. It's till in the US but it should be shipped over by the end of this summer if it isn't sold stateside by then.

Got any questions on 1947 - 1954 Chevy or GMC trucks I'm your man. Hot rod or restoration, I don't know everything but I know a lot. I've owned over 30 of them.

For anyone living in or around Cork City I'm available to help you work on your project cars also. I have 35+ years experience working on vintage/classic cars and trucks and also have experience with LS Chevy engines and late model swaps. I can fabricate and install parts as well as help with wiring and welding. I used to run my own parts fabrication business for 11 years. What I'm not doing is taking in projects that you don't want to work on yourself. That's not my thing and I already have too many projects and no more space. Plus, my landlord won't let me work on anyone else's vehicles at the shed. But if you need inexpensive help shoot me a message and we can talk.

    Robert

Thanks Darren. I'm stripping the Merc down to the bare rolling frame and drivetrain. I'll get more pictures once that's done.

Just a side note. Please do not advertise items or services unless you wish to become a forum sponsor.

Selling personal items is fine but as a business you need to be registered as such. Thanks.
