    after a i beam, spring, spindles, brakes and wisbone/radius rods, prefer complete as possible unit, but anything considered, what cha got??

    just picked up a ford pilot front beam complete with spindles & drums but no brake innerds :tdown: , i want to fit some different brakes to it as the pilot stuff is pretty pricey and the pcd is massive ! anyone know what brakes will fit onto the spindles without too much hassle and doesnt cost...

    what is involved in narrowing an i beam, the one i have is 51 inch wide and would lke to make it 48inch. is it best to cut the 3 inch form the centre and make new batwing plates, or to cut both ends and re weld .

    For looks I love the I Beam but some say they give a bad ride and IFS is the given for handling. BUT I do not like to see that lower A arm hanging below the front fender. Looks wierd to me. So what is your experience with either. Did you sacrifice looks for handling & vice versa?
