    Hi Guys, I want to reuse my original pop ignition barrel, with the outer ring which operates the lights. Originally though it would of been 6v, and positively earthed, right? The "batt", "ground", "side" and "head" terminals are clearly stamped on the back, but I want to check the wiring...

    A friend of mine has bought a 105E Anglia 1968 one of last ones made i think. They were Positive earth did the last ones be Neg earth. When he got it the man tried to start it turn over weak spark did not start. Any way my friend has the car at home and see the man had the Battary the wrong way...

    Need a new one for my daily driver after it tried to kill me yesterday by conking out on a roundabout. :eek: Halfords do an insulated one and a braided one. Any thoughts as to whats best? Does it make a difference?

    I have seen one of these for sale before but it was a '55 again in south Africa . Right hand drive , these cars came with that "pick up bed" from the factory they don't even have the provision under the rear deck for the hinges to be mounted . PS Thanks to Goat for bringing this to my attention...

    where should i run my earth to (positive earth) should i go from the battery to a starter mounting bolt and then to chassis. at present it goes from battery to block then block to body. jack
