I have built a 1986 Jaguar XJ12 IRS in my '59 Apache.
Works almost perfect, apart from a bit soft springs..
I also was looking for a rear swaybar for this IRS.
Are there alternatives for a swaybar, except for those from Jaguar or the aftermarket kits?

i removed the old steel tie strap and replaced with a nice shiney FORD logo alloy one, but despite the bolts being tight and in same position they were before the rubbers behind the tie strap are now loose?? should i have fitted it with the load removed ie jacked up?

front and rear v12 jag clips and 6 pot rear clip thats 3.3:1. all complete except calipers missing on front clip. v12 rear has finned diff cover and abs sensors so must be late one. front-£100 ono v12 rear-£175 6cyl rear-£150.cheers, neil. 07718 339011.
Just wondering if anyone could give me some information about fitting a Jag back axle into my Ford Pop. When mounting it, do you centre the diff in the frame, which then leaves the drive shaft at an angle to the gearbox - or do you offset the axle?
Is this how you fasten the drive shaft on to the Jaguar IRS? Simply insert a grade 8 bolt in each hole, nut on the back and then fasten?
Won't this put enormous amounts of force on those 4 bolts? I have got the rear end of the drive shaft custom made, but admits the conversion of the Jag IRS to...
