    2.1 pinto, twin 48's, grp1 head etc with a Volvo 740 rad & expansion tank, I need to get a new cap but not sure which pressure to get as there is a choice of 14psi & 22psi any ideas on which is best suited.

    My mate Jimbo's getting on with the rebuild of his Y. Ran it donkeys years ago with a ford v6 on the standard rad. This time round, its got a healthy sbc running about 475bhp. So, the question is, does anybody have any idea what a standard Y rad in good nick will cope with?

    i took my roadster to the swap meet and as i got within 3 miles from home it decided to dump coolant out of my overflow pipenot for the 1st time,it has a 305ci small block chevy,the radiator cap is 16lb pressure.should i up the pressure cap. Jack
