first 105 e Anglia came out in 59 so pre 60 body shape.yours has beam axle leaf springs. I remember when the Executioner`s started the gasser circus way back when some of them were running mickey t`s sportsman pro`s. those tyres weren't even out in the 60`s.there was a falcon that was post 1960 racing and accepted . back in the day in the mid -late 60`s they were racing mustangs nova`s even mid 60`s vette`s as gassers in the states .I v`e seen pic`s of 100e gassers racing in the states in the 60`s and they made them till 62.what do you have to do to make it right, run pie crust slicks pre 60`s engine, rough cast wheels?

hi all sorry to jack the thread but there are alot of gasser type cars being built and there is enough to start there own "gasser wars", i know the guy with the steel willys and his decal is "the circus is for clowns" it may be just a case of your nose doesn't fit with the set few . anyway their cars arnt built pieriod correct and the select few can use what ever parts they want. keep on racing and having fun, you wont be alone your car is a credit to you and built how you like it, and stuff them and there rules and run as a group on our own looking forward to race with you!

Maybe someone needs to start a British gasser class. I know of several people building cool gasser's at the moment (one is a steel 33 willys) with no intention of running in the circus because of this kind of bulls hit. I respect the fact they're trying to recreate a certain period in time in the states much like the vhra do with their events. But the build has been displayed for all to see ( even on the circus forum) something should have been said from the start before you invested all the time and money.

yes mate they burned that bridge so there's no going back there now. it just wouldn't be fun mate. i'm on the lookout for a pair of slotmags to put treaded tyres on now and i'll be adding the rest of the 'road legal' stuff so i can mot it and do some run wot ya brung when i feel like it.
